Your grocery bill didn’t double by accident

ree

Remember how Donald Trump wouldn’t shut up about groceries? Before the election, MAGA made grocery prices their favorite talking point.

ree

They painted themselves as the champions of working families, promising relief the second they were back in charge.

Eight months later, grocery costs are higher than ever.

Trump’s reckless trade war has turned basic necessities into luxury items.

Families are stretching paychecks to the breaking point, taking on debt to keep food on the table, and watching every trip to the store drain their savings.

A new AP-NORC poll shows just how bad it is.

Half of Americans are losing sleep over what they spend at the grocery store.

Two-thirds of lower-income families are buckling under tariffs that punish them most.

Even middle-income households are watching prices climb as big retailers quietly hike costs far beyond the actual tariff increases.

Amazon reportedly considered tagging items with a “Trump Tax” label to show that tariffs were the cause of the higher prices. Trump threatened them and they dropped the plan.

This has all led to a reality where shoppers are left in the dark as to why prices keep climbing and greedy corporations benefit from the confusion.

Some of the increase is tariffs, some is pure greed, but none of it is being explained honestly.

If you want someone in Congress who will call out corruption and name names, chip in today and let’s take this fight to the people cashing in while we get squeezed.

We have seen this playbook before:

During COVID, corporate executives bragged about raising prices simply because they could.

That same opportunism is back, hidden behind Trump’s economic blunders, and the people paying the bill are working families.

The truth is simple: we are paying more for less because the people in charge are fine with us struggling as long as their donors and allies get richer.

There is no accountability, no transparency, and no urgency to fix it.

That is why I am in this race.

My opponent, Jack Bergman, will not stand up to Trump’s economic failures or the corporate price gouging that comes with them.

He parrots the same talking points while ignoring the families in Northern Michigan watching their grocery bills spiral out of control.

He refuses to fight for relief because the people responsible for the problem are the same people he serves.

We can do better than this.

We can expose who is profiting from these tariffs and make sure they face consequences.

We can demand oversight that puts families first.

If you are ready to fight back, chip in and join us today. Together we can shine a light on this scam and hold the people behind it accountable.
