Bergman’s “Right Choice” wants your daughters silent

This week, Pete Hegseth promoted a video where his pastor explained that women should lose the right to vote, be banned from the military, and “submit” to their husbands. Trump’s Secretary of Defense and the Pentagon’s most overpaid group chat liability thinks the Pentagon’s mission should be to make sure women have fewer rights than they did in 1920.
Let’s remember that when Pastor Pentagon here was going through his confirmation hearing, my opponent Jack Berman saw his résumé and thought it was inspiring.
He went on Newsmax during Hegseth’s confirmation and beamed through an endorsement, calling him “the right choice.” Take a look. |
My opponent looked at a man selling a theocratic fantasy – a man who was once removed from Presidential security arrangements because members of his own unit believed he posed a threat – and thought, “Perfect, let’s give him the nukes.”
Bergman signed off on Hegseth knowing exactly who he was and exactly what he stood for.
Now Hegseth has graduated from being a whiskey-soaked Fox News backbencher to a cabinet official promoting sermons about stripping rights from half the country, and you will not hear a single word of protest from Jack Bergman.
He is too invested in the man, too tied to MAGA’s culture war, and too dependent on the base that cheers for this garbage to even fake a disagreement.
This is the rot we are up against.
It lives in the rubber stamps like Bergman who vote the way Trump tells them to, and in the Christian Nationalists like Hegseth who want to rewrite the rules so they can decide who counts in America.
If we want to stop it, we have to challenge every single seat they hold, from Congress to the Cabinet, and rip this culture of extremism out by the roots.
For the sake of my wife and daughters, for ALL our daughters, I have no interest in giving them one more term to make their vision permanent.
Chip in today and help us end Bergman’s career and take on every MAGA stronghold they think is safe.
Together we can break their grip on power and build a country where every voice, every vote, and every right is protected from the kind of people MAGA keep putting on a pedestal.
